BioThis is just a journal about my experiences being a photographer. I'm on my way to opening a professional studio. This journal will be a place where I share my frustrations and joys of being a photographer. And of course a place where I'll dump all my photos!
I've been doing photography ever since I can remember, setting up scenes with kittens and small toy pianos or my toy horses posing in the wild dandilions! I learned a lot of stuff from my dad, he taught me how to use a manual camera when I was 17. Once you go manual you never go back. I learned that when using manual cameras or using a manual DSLR you have complete control over your image, you camera does what YOU tell it to do. YOU focus how you want, you do it your way, you manage the lighting. :) Its powerful and it brought to me a new realm of photography, I visited places I've never been with manual power.
I'm also a big time collector of brownie cameras.
I love film as much as digital, though I use digital because its faster, though I would prefer to work in a dark room with b&w film, when you are in a blackroom time doesn't exist. It floats by. There are no clocks ticking...Its a place where you can take your time, be at ease with yourself, & relax.
